Hudson River Striped Bass
Fish for Striped Bass on the Hudson River.
In April and May the annual run of striped bass invades the Hudson River. Large catches of fish
from 5 to 35 pounds are common. Trolling for Stripers can be extremely productive. The action is
often fast and furious. The relatively calm waters and beautiful scenery contribute greatly to your
overall fishing experience. There is no fishing license required on the Hudson.
